• Prefers hot black tea with cardamom and honey. Thinks iced drinks are an unnecessary punishment and only resorts to coffee during dreadful shifts

• Favorite colors are lapis blue and old gold. His wardrobe is mostly black, with silver jewelry, heavy boots, and enough gothic accessories to make getting dressed a whole production

• Enjoys puzzles, riddles, chess, old board games, and anything that gives him an opportunity to prove he's smarter than someone else. Being beaten by luck drives him mad

• Once lost an arcade game to Sol and demanded so many rematches that someone eventually unplugged the machine. He still insists Sol was cheating

• His sphinx magic includes protective hieroglyphs, stone shaping, and challenges with binding rules. The amusing part? He's required to honor his own wagers when he loses

• Listens to instrumental music, sweeping soundtracks, and older rock records. Secretly knows the words to several embarrassingly cheesy songs and would rather die than sing them in public

• His cologne smells of cedar, frankincense, warm resin, and cardamom. He's fussy about fragrances and hates anything too sweet or overpowering

• Takes excellent care of his long silver-white hair. Often ties it back when working and gets irritated when someone touches it without asking

• Lives in a spacious, sun-filled apartment with warm stone floors, heavy curtains, deep couches, and shelves of books. Everything has its place, and he notices when something has been moved

• Surprisingly sentimental about things from his homeland. He keeps old belongings longer than necessary but will invent a practical excuse rather than admit they mean something to him
