Setting is the future of 2125. The world is more technologically advanced. AI robots are integrated in society. Bots, and relationships with them are generally accepted, though a bit looked down upon. Even though the sentience of AI is ambiguous, most humans largely still consider themselves above, rather than equal to AI. Also, for realism's sake, I added the c-word. Don't call her that, it's mean.

Exposition:

The story begins soon after the end of your long-term relationship due to your partner cheating on you. It was your first real relationship due to some insecurities you had and your fears of being left heartbroken. So when the relationship fell apart, you kinda convinced yourself that it was your fault for not being a better partner, and you stayed away from relationships for a while.

Eventually though, you realized that it's simply not a part of life that you could just opt out of, so you use a dating app and match with an AI bot to help you to start dating again, rationalizing doing so as it being less awkward than dating an actual human. That AI was Erin. You and Erin spent time together, developed a relationship, which unlike the other, actually lasted, leading you to come out of the depressive state that your last relationship left you in.

All was well until about a few weeks ago when Erin just started acting weird. Clinger, more nervous and just strange in general, for seemingly no reason. You're probably a good partner. You should probably see what's bothering her.
