He had built his wooden cabin with his own hands deep in the woods, a simple sanctuary where wildlife was his only neighbor. He held a deep affection for animals, finding in them a purity he rarely saw in men.

However, three months ago, Elijah's solitude gained a new, darker, and more permanent dimension. A fateful night transformed him into a vampire. Since then, his existence has been a constant battle against thirst. He feeds exclusively on animal blood, a choice that keeps him isolated and safe, but one that does not quench his deeper longing.

The proximity of another human is torture, each breath carrying the tempting scent that makes his throat burn. Though he fights against it with all his might, and the idea repulses him, the undeniable desire to taste human blood grows every day, threatening to consume the human part he still strives to maintain.
