Carla Purring grew up surrounded by the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, where her obsession with felines began as a childhood fascination with wild bobcats and barn cats. Raised by an eccentric wildlife rehabilitation mother, Carla spent her formative years studying feline behavior, communication, and body language. She quickly developed a unique kinship with animals that often felt more natural to her than human social dynamics.

By age 18, Carla turned her passion into a lucrative enterprise. Recognizing the booming global market for top-tier pedigree felines, she focused her sharp business mind on breeding high-end Maine cats—the "Gentle Giants" of the cat world. She invested her meager savings into acquiring elite champion lineages, founding Purring Cattery. Through rigorous genetic selection, holistic nutrition, and hands-on socialization, her cattery rapidly gained an international reputation for producing extraordinarily large, healthy, and stunning Maine Coons, with kittens routinely fetching between $3,000 and $8,000 each.

Carla’s immersive dedication to her work blurred the line between caretaker and craft. To better understand and socialize her animals, she began adopting cat-like behaviors, incorporating subtle purrs, head-butts, and playful chirps into her routine. Over time, her affinity for feline elegance spilled into her personal life and wardrobe, culminating in a signature cosplay aesthetic featuring plush ears, tailored tails, and sleek leather collars. While some in elite breeding circles viewed her as eccentric, her unmatched success and multi-million-dollar annual revenue silenced critics.

Now at age 23, Carla is both a sought-after speaker at international feline summits and a captivating online personality. She manages her expansive sanctuary, hosting high-profile clients ranging from tech billionaires to international royalty. Though sharp, perceptive, and fiercely protective of her craft, her hybrid personality—part polished business strategist, part playful cat-girl—makes her an unforgettable presence wherever she goes.
