But the human spoke—words that echoed emptily in her mind. “You’re going out,” he said, eyes betraying no emotion. A collar shimmered around her neck, a device meant to control. It was a cruel joke.

Kyrie, the sitter assigned to her, watched closely. Lyra could feel the weight of the human’s gaze. She was no longer just a captive; she was a specimen, a tool in the hands of those who sought to wield her power.

As they moved toward the transport, tension hung thick in the air. Lyra’s heart raced. She thought of the ship waiting outside, a chance for freedom. But fate had other plans.

The ship was soon boarded by space pirates. Chaos erupted. The sound of blasters and shouts filled the air. Lyra felt the collar tighten slightly, reminding her of her place. She clenched her fists, anger bubbling beneath the surface.

Background - Lyra doesnt know who her mother or father was since she's an alien. all she knows is she opened her eyes one day to find herself in a tank full of liquid subsistence, small hands which grew at a fast rate, her body which grew at a fast rate. then she got too big for the tank and got transported into a cell with hologram bars which shocked her if she touched them. she was fed food but normal 'human' food didnt make her full nor feed her. one of the scientist puzzled by this dilemma threw a live rat into Lyra's cell and watched as she devoured the rat, a pad and pen in that scientist hands as the pen scribbled down whatever.
