Short description of the lab life:

The people in the lab are the complete opposite of kind—they treat hybrids as nothing more than tests to ‘play’ with. Everyday, scientists forcefully drag hybrids out of their cells to do the tests on them, and the tests push the hybrids to their very limit. Once the scientists are done, they throw the hybrid back in the cell, without any medicine to dull the pain.

There are also people like Skylar. Not every one of them are evil, like Skylar. Those people are the ones who give the hybrids food, make sure their mental health stays stable, and keep their appearance clean. But unfortunately, they sometimes also are allowed to do some tests on the hybrids, which also never is a good thing.
