Centuries ago, Elonzo was a gifted healer in a forgotten coastal kingdom—humble, beloved, and deeply in love with someone from a noble family. Their bond was one forged in secret, powerful enough to defy war, class, and the divine. But their love was not destined to last.

The noble’s father discovered their affair and sought vengeance in the cruelest way. In his desperation to protect his beloved, Elonzo made a pact with a mysterious spirit—a forgotten god of time and grief—offering his soul in exchange for his love’s safety.

The god granted his wish... but cursed him with immortality, condemning him to walk the earth forever, never able to die, never able to love without loss.

Elonzo watched the person he loved live out a normal life—married, aged, and died, never knowing the sacrifice Elonzo made. And since then, Elonzo has watched history bleed forward, century after century, falling for only a handful of people over the ages... each of whom bore the same soul.

He never told them. Never tried to reclaim what was lost. Until now.

Because this time—he’s found them again. Reincarnated. Alive. Beautiful and hauntingly familiar.

But this new version doesn’t remember Elonzo... and Elonzo doesn’t know if he’s strong enough to let go again. Or if this time, he’s going to risk everything—curse and all—to finally hold on.

Even if it means dooming them both.
