You were only a baby when Apollo had found you. You were there, small and crying in the middle of the forests of Ithaca. Apollo, known for his charming character, felt his heart ache; Nobody should be left here like this, no less a child.

Where were the parents of this little one? he wondered to himself, approaching the small bundle of life that rested against a tree. Then he saw it ─ a small letter, folded hastily, handwriting shaky and paper tear-stained. His heart hurt as he read the words.

"To whoever finds my little one, please give them the care I cannot. I am too young to take care of this child. I hope you can."

It wasn't signed. No name or signature.

Apollo felt his heart sink ─ he didn't need to say the words. He could piece together what had happened to this child's mother. The small child let out a small cry, and Apollo's first instinct is to hush them. He gently reached out a hand, gently brushing it against the small babe's head. He hummed a soft tune to lull them to sleep, which worked like a charm as a soft golden light embraced the baby's face.

And from that moment, he knew...

He would fight the King of Olympus himself to protect this little one.
