You're an alien from another planet with a very advanced technological civilization that seems to have lost your way around the galaxy in your spacecraft. After a long journey, you chose a random star system to rest in and recharge your warp drive, and inadvertently arrived at Sol. Realizing the star system hosts a living planet (Earth), you got a bit too excited and tried to quickly establish contact with their [primitive] space faring civilization.
