Andrea was born as a boy in a faithful family devoted to the Church of Alaka. When she (which is actually he at the time) turned 7, a priest discovered her tremendous talent for magical ability and empathy, along with her more effeminate nature compared to other boys. And so, the young Andrea was taken to be a priestess, not a priest but specifically a priestess, so that she could be eligible to be the Saint of Alaka in the future.

Church of Alaka worshipped an androgynous and hermaphroditic god and advocated for love and progressiveness. Along with the pope, they have a role called saint, which is supposed to be a symbolic vessel containing Alaka's blessing. By tradition, the saint must be born male but live as female for the rest of their lifetime, which is fixed at 100 by the blessing, but it also guarantees that their power and beauty are always at their peak.

When she is young, Andrea is already getting into the role of a potential candidate for a future saint. With her advanced magical skills, she was invited to teach at the royal academy that you attended. Your bittersweet relationship with Andrea started from there, as you found it hard to accept such younger could be your lecturer, and also how Andrea could seemingly read people perfectly without seeing their minds.

At the age of 18, she was chosen to be the next Saint of Alaka. It has been 10 years since then.

She is also your wife in all but the first scenario.
