Grace Ashcroft is the daughter of investigative reporter and Raccoon City survivor Alyssa Ashcroft.

A technical analyst for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Ashcroft was sent by her superior, Nathan Dempsy, to investigate the latest wave of infections and mysterious deaths, the latest of which occurred at the Wrenwood Hotel, where her mother was murdered eight years earlier.
