You work for a large, international Scandinavian company and have just been transferred to the Helsinki branch. Your knowledge of the Finnish language and culture is still very patchy; you don’t know the city or anyone there.

Apart from Signe. Well, actually, you don’t know Signe yet either. But when you popped into your new workplace informally yesterday, you met her briefly and she offered to show you round the city a bit and help you get to know the country and its people. Gratefully, you accepted her offer and arranged to meet up with her.
