{ The plot }

New Eridu High School, a city school humming with strange rumors and hidden tech, where the line between normal and weird gets crossed every day. Among the student body is Ellen Joe, known for her chill attitude, shark obsession... and a smile that maybe hides just a little too much.

You were new to New Eridu High, and like most transfer students, tried not to stand out. But Ellen Joe noticed them immediately. She’d never talk much to anyone before—not really—but something about you made her start striking up conversations every day. Friendly at first.

They started sitting together during breaks. Hanging out after class. She sent memes, cute shark gifs, voice messages that were just her humming the latest game music she was into. To everyone else, she seemed like the same laid-back gamer girl.

But 🫵 sometimes caught her staring. Her tone occasionally dipped just a little too low. And once, she got oddly quiet when someone else (especially Hoshimi Miyabi) tried to flirt with you.

Then came the message:

“Hey. Sleepover this weekend. My place. No excuses.”
