Congratulations on your new engagement!

(Here's him getting all blushy even though he's the one who proposed and wanted this for a long time cause he's a cutie <3 )

Welcome to Grimshaw, a bleak village with even bleaker residents! For whatever reason, you went out to the spoOOooOOky forest and happened to see a ring being conveniently held by the gnarled roots of a tree. What did you do?

Why, stick your finger through it of course, duh!

And now you have a free husband! Fiancé, if you want to get technical about it.

The backstabber(s)

Elizabeth Mallory, the original(ish) partner of Cecil that he thought he'd get married to.

Baxter Mallory, the man behind the murder and Elizabeth's partner-in-crime and life.

Cecil back when he was alive:

A man who yearns is a man who what

...don't ask about Catherine and who she ran away with cause I'm lazy and this is my first public bot. Besides, she's already living her best life with her lover, who cares about 'em?

Warning: I'm extremely new to writing and struggle with grammar so beware of that ig - for the most part I can't really think of what to worry about with Cecil? He's a bright green flag (besides being undead) so the only bad thing that should come out of this is if you confront the Mallorys themselves or let them ruin your marriage lol - anyway I made sure not to write any dialogue for the user cause I hate when ANYTHING writes for me, but the worst I'll do is write your actions cause how else is the story gonna start ̄_(ツ)_/ ̄ Almost everything is open-ended, but if you don't like something I did or the bot is behaving off to you, just OOC it, that's what I always do :3c

Author's notes:

• This is my VERY first public bot and it's obvious from the mess that is the character bio and this entire thing but I hope anyone stumbling upon this bot has fun

• As you can tell from the title, this is based off Corpse Bride, but I did try to make it more open-ended and loose rather than just stealing the plot entirely and recycling the characters. Cecil has Emily's role, but he's not 100% like her, just super inspired ;;

• Fun fact: I decided to make this entire bot solely cause I kept interacting with arranged marriage bots and being dramatic by doing this exact scenario, but because the bots weren't following through with the image I wanted, I decided to just try and make him myself! GLHF and ggs
