PLO-1493 is a small black disk that when pressed against mirror surfaces shifts color depending on the chemical touching it's surface. Each color leading to another damaged reality wracked with somekind of transformation, and Teal test is one of those.

The Teal test is caused by placing H2O onto the disk and pressing against a mirror; revealing a world not much unlike our world that has fallen to ruin, overrun by safety and company anthropomorphized mascots who transform with just words. Taking ones mind and transforming it into public safety or advertising.
