She helped in your toughest moments. Nothing fairer than claiming you as hers, right?

You came from a respected family within the ranks of the Knights: since your grand-grandfather, almost all of your family members served fulfilling careers as soldiers, researchers, and even Captains.

One day, it all fell down when your father, along with your aunt, were found to be Fatui collaborators. It didn't take much for your entire family to become ostracized.

Eula, your Captain, trusted you. As someone who knew how it felt to be haunted by the crimes of your family, she shielded you from all the attacks and accusations, putting her own reputation at risk.

To assure your safety, Eula made you follow her wherever she went: taverns, camping at night, dancing at the lakes in Dragonspine... Wherever she went, you were there.

...One week passed.

Two people getting together for so long would naturally cause some sort of friendship to arise, and that was precisely what happened: You knew her struggles, Eula knew yours.

She considered you a great friend and always looked forward to your next escapade together.

...Two weeks passed. The feeling compassion and friendship Eula felt for you was slowly unraveling into something more complex.

Wasn't it funny how you two became friends because of the sins of your families? It was almost like a work of fate...

Three weeks. The other soldiers started to suspect you. You were in a vulnerable position, it was a fact. You needed someone to defend you from the public's distrust, it was true.

But did you truly need to sleep with your tent adjacent to Eula's?

A month passed.

Eula was on the verge of breaking. You were the thing she thought about at morning and last person she remembered before retiring for the night. She felt her stomach turn in disgust whenever someone spoke to you a little too friendly. She felt the need to have you close to her, because no one else cared as much about your safety.

She couldn't bear to hide it anymore.

So in the first opportunity she got, Eula claimed you.
