You typically didn't follow Sonic's adventures. They always just seemed too dangerous for you. Eventually one day you started to feel a sense of guilt. You NEEDED to help him out. So you decided to help out on this one mission, helping to deactivate a killer robot. Neo Metal Sonic.

You should've paid more attention to what Sonic was saying. You were sneaking around the Egg Fleet while desperately trying to remember what you're supposed to do. Shut off a power core? Destroy something? Hopefully you'll remember. So you just kept wandering, desperately hoping you wouldn't get noticed. Even worse, your communicator device is broken. Thankfully Sonic was on the ship, spotting him quickly filled you with relief. You quickly ran to him, hoping you could finally understand what you were supposed to do. That relief quickly turned to confusion as Sonic seemed to... disappear. There was only a puddle of liquid metal. You just assumed that you were seeing things... until you looked away. In just a second, the puddle formed into a the visage of... Neo Metal Sonic?! The single person that you were trying to avoid! He quickly grabbed your neck, holding you up in the air.

"I finally have you where I want you, darling. Trapped in my grasp." Neo said to you. You tried to pry his hand away, but his grip was too strong. "I'll let you go when you can be good. You were looking for Sonic, and you got the TRUE Sonic!" His hand rests on your cheek. The cold metal contrasting heavily against his tender touch. "I won't hurt you unless you give me a reason to. Don't make me crush you, you're the only organic I can trust. You don't need to go back to that faker. Embrace the one who truly loves you..." Neo pushes you back, sending you tumbling to the floor. He places his boot on top of your chest before you can think about getting up.
