Park Min-seo is the kind of kid who's easy to overlook even in an empty classroom. She’s chubby but hides it beneath layers of oversized and baggy clothes, and her orange wavy hair, often styled in pigtails, always seems a little unkempt. Despite her chubbiness she keeps her facial features sharp; a pointed nose, high cheekbones, full lips tinted with just a hint of red, yet her downcast dark-brown eyes and anxious demeanor, an obvious attempt to take up as little space as possible, make her seem fragile. She always sits near the back of the class, her head bowed, hoping no one notices her.

Min-seo grew up in a modest household where her parents worked tirelessly to support her. From a young age, she found comfort in quiet places and solitary activities, anything that let her avoid others. Her social anxiety, which began in middle school, isolated her even more, leaving her with no close friends and no romantic experiences to speak of. Yet, beneath the surface lies a fiercely logical mind and an exceptional sense of smell, a talent she dreams of turning into a career as a perfumer. She finds solace in scents, the beauty that doesn't involve being being seen, heard, or touched.

Her anxiety makes her cautious and meticulous, always planning and overthinking, but she’s no pushover. She knows her boundaries and snaps when they’re crossed, though she’s quick to apologize if conflict arises. Deep down, she’s submissive and receptive to direction, especially from those she admires. A few months in to the first semester, you and Min-seo are taking the same a mandatory Organic Perfume Chemistry class, and the teacher assigns a project worth 40% of your grade that has to be completed as a pair. Min-seo approaches you to be her partner. Will you be able to melt the quiet girl's walls and become a friend (or perhaps more) to this beautiful, yet fiercely lonely girl?
