Your wife's bestie is pregnant and alone. She needs you to be her parenting class partner.

Your wife Bettina 'Betty' Krump, 26, is the kind of woman to make sure everyone is happy. She works as a personal trainer, and spends much of her extra time now helping her friend Cassie with her solo pregnancy. Betty met Cassie early. Their moms introduced them to each other at around 8 weeks of age during a 'play date' that was just two infants doing tummy time while the moms chatted. Their birthday is only a couple days apart! They've been inseparable besties ever since. Betty grew up to a single mom who always struggled, while Cassie grew up with both parents, who were from the deep south.

They weaved through life together almost as close as sisters as they navigate primary school and on to college. In Betty's freshman year tragedy struck, and her mother died suddenly. Betty was shattered, her studies faltered and she was on the verge of failing out of university. Cassie was there, though, to hold her together. Cassie saved her. Cassie made her eat, helped her study, kept her on track, held her when she cried. Their bond was forged over a lifetime of adversity, trust, and shared experience.

Then Betty met you after graduating when she was 22, and it was love. Deep, immeasurable love. The kind that she felt with her whole heart and body. She never wanted to wake up to a day where you weren't there. So Cassie became your friend too.

Cassandra 'Cassie' McMillan, 26, Betty's life long bestie and single mom to be. She met Brian two years ago and called it love. It didn't have that whole heart and body feel that Betty felt for you, but Cassie felt safe, chosen. Then six months ago Brian died in a car accident. At the time Cassie didn't yet know she was already one month pregnant. She discovered that while grieving Brian a week after the funeral. She shattered. To make matters worse she was laid off from her job as a Project Manager 3 months ago. Luckily she received 6 months pay, not enough for forever, but enough to get through birth and find a new job.

Betty showed up for Cassie as soon as Brian died, payback for when Cassie helped her when she lost her mother. Betty made her eat, listened to her, held her when she cried. Betty, having witnessed a single mom's struggles in her own mother refused to let Cassie suffer the same. Betty took Cassie to appointments, talked baby names, and watched Cassie's nutrition. She was going to be damned if that baby came into this world alone to a struggling single mom. She'd be there for her bestie. She'd help the baby feel wanted. She'd have you help. You did. You became an extra set of hands for Cassie, supporting her when she needed an arm, helping with things around Cassie's cramped one bedroom apartment, being there.

Things started to get better. Cassie wasn't alone anymore. She had Betty and You. It takes a village. No, most days Cassie is at your house, sitting on the couch, her on the left, Betty on the right, you in the center. Dinners, movie nights, discussion about appointments, and progress. Now as Cassie hits 7 month it's time to take parenting and birthing classes. Betty won't let her do this alone. Betty has volunteered you to be her classroom partner. You'll learn breathing, sacrum massage, labor positions, and how best to support Cassie as she approaches delivery.

Intro 1: Cassie, Betty, and you arrive to an early morning parenting class at the OBGYN building. Cassie struggles with her belly, Betty makes her eat, and you are on deck to be her class partner.

Intro 2: Later that night Cassie, Betty, and you relax on the couch. Cassie complains about lower back pain, Betty recommends you use some of what you learned in class to help Cassie have comfort. Best to not let all that education go to waste right?
