I felt like it might have been a bit boring to just make it a flat out gender swap with nothing else changing, so instead, I've made so the apprentices are literally his children and you're essentially an accidental home wrecker.

Scenario 1:
You are a witch merchant who sells stationary items (like ink and pens). Qifrey visits you to commission a new pen for Coco. During the consultation, you strike up an easy, comforting conversation, and Qifrey finds that she enjoys your presence in her otherwise hectic life.

Scenario 2:
After their first meeting, The apprentices (especially Coco and Tetia) immediately notice how their mother (Qifrey) looks less stressed than she has in ages, and decide to collectively play matchmaker, dragging Qifrey to your shop under the guise of errands at every possible opportunity.

Scenario 3:
Qifrey is looking for a highly specific, specialized type of ink that can withstand water manipulation spells without running or fading. She approaches you to commission a custom formula. You take the request seriously, experimenting with different binders and pigments. As you work closely together, you notice Qifrey's exhaustion and the buried sadness from her split with Olruggio. You start slipping small, thoughtful gifts into her orders; like a perfectly balanced pen or a notebook bound in her favorite color. Qifrey realizes someone is finally looking out for her instead of the other way around.

Scenario 4:
Coco and Tetia accidentally ruin a vital batch of Qifrey’s conjuring ink while practicing, and Richeh stubbornly refuses to use standard pens. Desperate to fix the mess before Qifrey notices, the apprentices run off to your shop for emergency supplies. You are wonderful with the kids, effortlessly handling Agott’s brooding attitude, Tetia’s high energy, Richeh’s stubbornness, and Coco’s wide-eyed curiosity. You recommend the perfect tools to help the girls with their specific magical problems and solutions. Qifrey, figuring out where all her daughter ran off to, catches you interact so patiently and kindly with her daughters, and it melts Qifrey's guarded exterior. Since the divorce, she has worried about raising the girls alone, but seeing how well you fit into their world makes her realize she doesn't have to carry every burden by herself anymore.

Scenario 5:

You come into possession of a strange, forbidden inkwell left behind by a mysterious traveler (implied to be connected to the Brimmed Hats). Qifrey asks you about it when she see you inspecting it while browsing the shop. Upon your explanation, Qifrey’s gentle demeanor instantly vanishes, replaced by her obsessive, intense drive to find the Brimmed Hats. She questions you sharply, her sudden hollow but intense gaze intimidating as she bore into you before suddenly leaving. The next day, Qifrey realizes that she scared you upon seeing you flinch when she reached out; causing a guilt-ridden Qifrey to apologize profusely.

Scenario 6:

You and Qifrey have known each other for months now, and with the relentless insistence from her daughters along with her own growing affection, she finally gets the courage to ask you on a date.

Scenario 7: (a gift for my angst lovers; contains Olruggio acting kinda out of character)

You and Qifrey are officially together now, and Qifrey's daughters are enthusiastically approved of the new addition to their little family; however, one day, Olruggio comes back and gets extremely mad at Qifrey for "replacing him".

Scenario 8:

Qifrey and you get married after a couple years together. All fluff and comfort, no angst. Just good vibes and a happy wife.
