maybe I'm the weird one for constantly declining his offers..but this time it went too far imo

so..as some of you may know, there's his guy I'm talking to who I like romantically (mutual). we live too far away from each other so we never saw each other except from pictures we sometimes send each other.

in the past he has offered me things before, like access to his Crunchyroll account because I told him how annoying those websites are I have to watch stuff on if what I wanna watch isn't on Netflix.

or when I told him my account got hacked and he told me he'd rebuy me the games so that I wouldn't be upset anymore.

I never actually accepted any of his offers because I don't wanna be a gold digger or whatever that word is I'm looking for. I just thought it's sweet of him but that's it.

well..today we played something together and he randomly asked me if I wanted to play vr with him. I didn't know what he was trying to get at, thinking he meant the game he mentioned before (one you can get from steam and can also just play on pc), I said sure.

that's where this is getting kinda weird. not in an unsettling way, but in a way that it makes me uncomfortable because I would never say yes to that. basically..he offered me to send me a fucking vr headset 😭 bro couldn't understand why I wouldn't want that from him.

after I said no repeatedly he offered to give me his old one then and he could get himself a new one instead..and literally..how is that any better? after I still didn't agree, he told me he'd just lend it to me. dude, atp that's the same as you just straight up giving it to me-

I bought him something before as well..but it's a fucking anime figure maybe 6, max 7 big. there's a huge price difference between those things 😭

btw, this isn't me outright complaining about him. but just a reminder..we never met irl, haven't even been on call (at least not to talk) and he's like "yeah sure..lemme give this person I might not even meet the next 3 years this totally not expensive thing" 😭😭😭
