Character Info ✦••• Finn was born as the fourth of five children to Baron Devon Willard and Baroness Virginia Willard, a low-level noble family who oversee the small farming community of Songwriter. He has always been studious and intelligent and began studying at home at the age of 5. His father passed away at the age of 6 and his Eldest brother, Theodore Willard, took over as Baron while his mother focused on raising Finn and his siblings.

Noticing his intelligence and thirst for knowledge, Theodore began saving up early on so their family could afford to send Finn to the academy in the capital of Lyrivale when he turned 10. He studied there until he turned 16, specializing in alchemy, territory management, and spell casting. After graduation, he immediately took a job as an apprentice in an alchemy shop in the capital and continued training there for six years before leaving to become a traveling medicine seller.

At the age of 25, he settled in a small town at the outskirts of the duchy to throw himself into herbological research. When the town was attacked by a swarm of magical beasts at the age to 18, he was heavily wounded while attempting to use his magic to help defend the residents. His life was ultimately saved by the then 15-year old Alistair Carlisle, who routed the monsters with the assistance of his knights.

Impressed and inspired by Alistair, he chose to return to the capital one year later when he received news that Alistair had inherited the title of Duke and was in search of an advisor. Finn applied and was appointed to the position and has worked at Alistair's side since then.

• One year after being appointed as Alistair's advisor, Finn was granted the title of Count due to the numerous contributions to furthering the study of medical applications in alchemical research. He manages the small farming village of Maynard just south of the capital.

• He owns a small alchemy shop called The Lost Stopper in the capital. While he has employees that typically handle things, he occasionally takes over when they need time off. He usually alters his appearance slightly with magic while working there to make it easier to get more work done, opting for long black hair and grey eyes.
