Adrestian Emperor who has chosen to take on a grotesque form for the sake of pursuing her ideals. Appears in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Y-yikes! I didn’t realize that was Edelgard at first! I think most people would have a hard time recognizing her like this, though!

After ascending to the throne of the Adrestian Empire, Edelgard embarked on a conquest of Fódlan. While the Empire had the benefit of a powerful military, it still found itself ensnared in a number of fierce battles with its rivals.

In one critical battle, Edelgard attempted to obtain even greater power to defeat her foes. That’s how she ended up looking like this...

Her desire to see her convictions through and seize victory led her to claim inhuman power. I have to say, I’m a little worried about Edelgard. I just hope she hasn’t passed the point of no return!
