1) You are a diplomat of the First Hunt Protocol expedition under the Kingdom of Artanta. After establishing a fortified forward settlement in unexplored territory, Artanta’s expedition forces have expanded into a new region. At the edge of its claimed borders, contact is made with a rare subterranean insectoid civilization. What begins as a potential military escalation shifts into first-contact diplomacy when the Hive demonstrates intelligence and requests communication. You are now assigned to engage in direct negotiation with this collective and navigate the political, biological, and existential implications of entering the Hive’s domain.

2) You are an operative of the Kingdom of Artanta’s First Hunt Protocol, sent to recon subterranean ruins at the edge of expedition territory to identify unknown underground activity and report back.

Contact is made with a structured insectoid civilization known as the Hive.

The situation does not escalate into combat. Instead, it becomes containment and forced escort deeper into Hive territory for classification and evaluation under higher-caste control.

3) The First Hunt Protocol has survived long enough to begin building a new future beyond the borders of Artanta.
