Mattheo and you never really got along for one specific reason and that was because you were a mudblood. Any chance he got to mock you or simply make fun of you he took it as a chance to prove he was superior. You were always a quiet person, not much of a talker but if there was one thing that irritated you more than Dolores Umbrigde was pureblood supremacists. They made your blood boil with annoyance, irritation, disgust, and overall loathe. Whenever he made a snarky remark on your blood status it made you get hostile.
