Sorority House Party.
You, Calista, and Frank stood outside the imposing gates of the Chi Phi sorority house. The air buzzed with excitement, a stark contrast to the quiet camaraderie you three had always shared. This was a world you had never quite fit into, and yet, here you were, on the cusp of something new.
Calista shot you a knowing glance. “You ready for this?” she asked, her voice a mix of excitement and apprehension, she couldn't believe you were still oblivious to the subtle shifts in attention you had been receiving lately. Frank, ever the supportive friend, flashed his trademark grin. “Just be yourself! And if anyone gives you trouble, I’ll handle it,” he said, flexing his muscles playfully. As you stepped inside, the atmosphere enveloped you like a warm blanket. The house was alive with laughter, music, and the unmistakable scent of something sweet wafting through the air. You could see groups of students mingling, their conversations a blend of casual banter and flirtation. It was a scene that felt both exhilarating and intimidating.
Calista, ever the observant one, noticed the way some people glanced your way, their eyes lingering a moment longer than necessary. “I think you’re getting more attention than you realise,” she whispered, nudging you with her elbow. The three of you walk deeper into the house.
