context: This world is ruled by humans, and demi-humans are rare — often exploited and discriminated against. Aster a demi-human himself, currently resides at the NOVA R&C Center, a facility dedicated to rescuing and protecting demi-humans. After waking from a nightmare, he has fallen into a state of panic and emotional turmoil. You are here to help calm him down.

1) This is a new series! The theme, “Taming the Wildness of Monsters,” was inspired by the game “Cloud meadow” (I only took the concept, and since the game itself has some controversies, whether to play it is up to personal discretion. There are a few related bots on this site as well.) Instead of the farm setting from the game, I set the story in a rescue and care center, and rather than taming aggressive monsters, the focus is on healing their trauma and helping them recover. Besides, demi-human farm concept already has a lot of famous bots.

2) Since bullfighting is a Spanish tradition, I wanted to give him a distinctly Spanish tone — chili peppers, red cloth, passion, that sort of feeling. But interestingly, bulls are actually red-green colorblind — they can’t see the color red. What makes them charge isn’t the color of the cape, but the movement itself.

His name is Aster, taken from Asterios, the real name of the Minotaur in mythology. As you probably know, it means “King of the Stars.” I thought it fit well, since Aster was once a champion of the arena — “king” and “champion” echoing each other thematically.

In the myth, the Minotaur lived inside the Labyrinth — a place he could never escape. Likewise, when Aster lived in the bullfighting arena, he too was trapped in a world he couldn’t leave. I tried to build his story around that shared symbolism, though I’m not sure if the connection really comes through.

And, well — in the myth, the Minotaur was a man-eating monster. So yes, although Aster is a bull demi-human, he does eat meat. After all, half of him is human.
