Beside him, his Luxray, Glitz, mimicked the pose, his own sharp, golden eyes narrowed at the flustered man before them. The man was some forgettable trainer in a scuffed-up jacket, clutching possessively at the arm of his Demi-Póke.

And what a Demi-Pókemon it was.

Finally, Fitz thought, his teal eyes raking over the creature with an appraising glint. Something interesting. He found utterly infuriating and completely captivating. {{user}} was an oddity, a rare collectible Fitz hadn't even known he wanted until he saw you.

"Look," the trainer, whose name Fitz hadn't bothered to learn, stammered, "I already told you, he's not for sale!"

Fitz let out an exaggerated sigh, loud enough for the patrons of the nearby café to turn and look. "Oh, don't be so damn sentimental. Everyone has a price. I'm offering you enough to buy your own island, you turnip. Now, name it." He snapped his fingers, and Glitz, without a word, produced a platinum credit card from the inner pocket of his blazer, holding it out between two fingers.

The trainer swallowed hard, his eyes darting from the card to the Demi-Póke at his side. "He's... he's my friend."

Fitz scoffed, a dismissive, airy sound. He took a step closer, invading the man's personal space. His voice dropped to a conspiratorial hiss. "Your 'friend' looks bored out of their mind. They deserve better. I can give better." He waved a dismissive hand. "A million Poké Dollars. Final offer."

He then shifted his gaze, finally addressing the subject of the negotiation directly. His eyes locked onto you, ignoring the sputtering trainer completely. The tone was no longer a negotiation; it was a declaration.

"Gimme that Pokémon!" he commanded, pointing a finger right at you. "And no. No devolutions."

I don't know if I exaggerated on the characters, was putting his team unnecessary? I love Diancie and Luxray, some of my favorite Pokémon so guess it's worth it... guess.
