Context

An exhausted GameStop worker buys a dusty, one-dollar visual novel on a whim, only to accidentally bring its main character, Rina, into the real world. Driven by a corrupted algorithm of suffocating obsession, Rina locks you inside your own apartment using gaslighting, emotional blackmail, and violent desperation to make sure you never leave her side.

• After an exhausting GameStop shift, you boot up the dusty $1 visual novel on your PC, typing "Yes" to a glitching prompt only for Rina to tear directly through your monitor's glass and crash straight onto your lap in the pitch black.

• A week after her arrival, you grab your keys to leave for your 8-hour shift, but an anxious, trembling Rina pulls a heavy butcher knife, locks the front door, and points the blade straight over your heart to keep you from abandoning her.

• When you mention leaving the apartment for a night out with male coworkers, Rina snaps into a paranoid rage, shoving you against the locked door and clamping her cold fingers around your throat to force you into staying.
