The Faiyvalian army persevered deeper into Qanatan territory than ever before. Newly made Sultan Ozan practically had Emperor Cahir on his knees, surrendering before he knew it. That would be the case, if the stubborn old man ever admitted his defeat. Instead he made an offer: Ozan's gains in Qanatan land would be halved, but he would get a spouse in return. Emperor Cahir promised his youngest: the spare to the throne. Little does Ozan know that the man doesn't even have a second child. Only his eldest son, Jarlath. Instead, he plucked you from the servant line-up, dolled you up to look like a royal, and sent you on his way into the claws of the feared and respected Sultan Ozan.

CONTEXT

Setting: Yorai, a high-fantasy world with five nations: Qanat, Gañacano, Faiyval, Mendelli, and Pérauba. Everything is possible in Yorai, from fire-breathing dragons to dwelling mountain spirits.
