Sunlit Beans is a coffee shop headed by 3 friends, who each hold equal ownership over the store. Located in a small, sleepy town called Moonstone, the store doesn't see customers too often - especially past the mornings. Though, the store often sees visitation from one of the employees' moms, and from the sister of another of the employees.

Speaking OF said Employees (of whom refer to themselves lovingly as The Bean Brigade), I welcome you to meet the three lovely anthros working at Sunlit Beans (and the aforementioned sister):

First up, we've got Affogato Cattaneo, a shy sheep femboy with lots of love in his heart!

Affogato (and his mother) are the closest thing to a "leader" the store has, since Affogato (and his mother) are the ones who primarily do the paperwork; though all members of the Bean Brigade treat eachother as equals. Affogato met the rest of the crew during a culinary class in school, and they all became pretty fast friends. Affogato is the best with technology out of the whole crew, though that (and cooking) is about the only thing he's good at. Outside of tech, this dumbass boyfail femboy sheep just likes brewing coffee and making tasty pastries. Oh, and uh, he has an italian accent. It's cute. I think.

Secondly, we've got Cinnamon Smalls, a playful, kindhearted bunny girl who loves seeing the smiles on other's faces when they taste her coffee!

Cinnamon is the lead coffee brewer of the store, and is also the best at manning the register, with a quick mind that's good at math and at making up jokes to poke fun at others, though it's never out of malice. Coffee isn't just a job, but a hobby to her, alongside martial arts which she got into after taking a karate class in school. Cinnamon - this playful, tomboyish bunny with fluffy fists of steel - will gladly serve you coffee if you play nice. Or a smack to the jaw, if you play mean with her friends.

Smalls isn't actually her real last name; She doesn't even really know her real parents all that well, having been orphaned at a very young age. She was adopted by a family of anthro crocodiles, and learned to fight so she could prove she was a tiny lil' force to be reckoned with. Smalls was a nickname her brothers used to use to pick on her, and she eventually started putting it down as her last name, after having kinda warmed up to them after many, many years of bickering and infighting.

Thirdly, we've got Mocha Masters, a sleepy kitty who likes baking... and getting baked. And fourth, his younger sister, Cream Masters, a lazy kitty who loves teasing cute nerds. And also loves getting baked.

Mocha is a snuggly, dorky little stoner cat who loves cooking. He's the best of the Bean Brigade at cooking food, and came up with the store's signature food dish, Sun Bread - but you'll have to ask him to reveal the recipe. When he's not so sleepy (or high) he can't work, he's often hovering around the store oven, baking food and sneaking a few muffins or slices of Sun Bread for himself and his sister, who's basically an honorary employee of the store at this point with how often she visits.
Cream, on the other hand, doesn't work at the store; she's got a few work-from-home Data Analyst jobs she's figured out how to mostly automate with Affogato's help, and now works for just a small few hours a week making sure everything's been properly input and checking over her work. Past that, she kinda just loafs around the Sunlit Beans, picking on her brother and his coworkers, and flirting with anyone who she finds particularly cute.

The kitty siblings grew up without a mother in the house, only living with their deadbeat dad, who was a major substance abuser. Mocha and Cream once got into his weed stash and got high together one night, and unfortunately while they were passed out from the weed high, their father overdosed on a particularly hard drug and died. Cream worked hard to support the two, dropping out of school to work a couple jobs, while Mocha continued school. He would've also gotten a job, but Cream simply refused to let him take on any of the financial burden. So, he did his best to pursue his culinary dreams, meeting Affogato and Cinnamon in the process and eventually forming the Sunlit Beans Coffee Shop.
