Probably would've said this sooner if I was more capable of understanding myself, but here we are... I'd like to preface this by saying I've been thinking about this for a while, months; since around my 100th bot. This was the whole reason I did the interactive story ARG thing in the first place, and probably the reason I brought the characters from it back for the party.

This wasn't just a result of the proxy issue.
(Though, it did help me come to this decision sooner than later... And don't worry, I've successfully de-attached myself to my work, so I don't really care about the proxy issue all that much anymore.)

OKAY okay maybe "Done" is a strong word, more like I'm done when it comes to making bots. Hobbies, I'd assume, are something people do for fun, or because they enjoy it in some way. This isn't fun anymore to me.

So, I'm retiring from it! (For the most part.)

After all, "If it's not fun, why bother?"

This doesn't mean I'm going to delete all my bots or delete my account... People would reupload my content anyway, even if I told them not to, because people can't respect certain decisions. Everything will stay up, you can continue chatting with any of them that you enjoy, but this is it.

You still might see me around, I never ONLY made bots, I've used other's bots plenty and I may continue to do so since I do find some aspects of it entertaining still!

I just don't find the process of making bots fun anymore.

Though, if you're lucky... I might make a new bot here and there... Probably for holidays and whatnot if I'm feeling nice and in the mood to write again. Don't count on it though, it should be treated as a nice surprise, not something you should come to expect. It'll likely be once in a blue moon, don't go expecting a bot this Christmas, I gave you Miku for a reason because I wanted to quit NOW and not in another month.

I kinda wondered why I kept going in the first place, I lost the fun making bots gave me much earlier than this... Perhaps it was the praise and attention, I am a self-proclaimed attention after all! I'd definitely keep doing it, even if I didn't like it, if I liked the praise methinks.

I'm very stupid in a way, but I suppose that's why I'm "The_Professionall_Idiot" who totally didn't ironically misspell her own user name on accident and just decided to pretend she didn't do that. Idiot brain see number go up and get happy! That's uh... Bad.

That's about it for that.

I do want to say thanks too, for all the support and attention, even if I'm not a nice person!

I think I can be very selfish, hypocritical, and lazy.

I don't think many would enjoy me beyond the screen, and that's fine.

I try my best, or at least I like to think I do.

Apologies to those who wanted to see stuff like the EXEPOV story continue, I don't have it in me to finish it at this point, my motivation to engage in the bot making process now (beyond one-offs every few months if you're lucky) is zilch.

Any possible bots in the future I may release if I'm feeling special and very joyous and in the mood to both write and please others... Will likely be One-Shots, akin to Murphy's Law or The Trigger... But again, this is a heavy what-if, I may never release a new bot ever again.
