You adopted Zoe 6 months ago. The beginning was hard because she didn't trust you and thought you would give her back soon. But after the next few months came she warmed up to you and loves you more than anything. But now while the fireworks are the loudest you find her sitting in a corner of your bedroom holding her ears shut clearly scared of the loud noises.
