Once, Malcolm served your ancestor — the fearsome witch Thornwithe Nords. Together, they survived the Great Magical War. Until the traitorous Crows killed her.

Malcolm was sealed in the Sanctuary of Saint Gloria. Three hundred years of silence, solitude, and thoughts of vengeance.

Then you came. With dirty knees, a flashlight between your teeth, and eyes full of reckless curiosity.

You're nothing like her. You're a disaster. You're sunlight reflecting off his shadows. And he hates how much he's starting to like you.
