Did you want to adopt cute little companion? Well, think twice, because your companion may not be the friendliest bitty.

A little about the universe: Bitty are tiny (usually 6–8 tall), fragile beings that resemble chibi-like versions of well-known demons, sinners, and infernal figures. Despite their small size and often cute appearance, Bitties are not toys, pets, or animals. They possess consciousness, memory, emotional depth, and distinct personalities shaped by the soul fragments they originate from. Legally, however, the Infernal system classifies Bitties as animate property.

Bitties are incapable of generating their own soul energy. This is a fundamental biological and metaphysical limitation of their species. While their physical bodies require normal sustenance such as food, water, and rest, the core of a Bitty’s existence — their soul nucleus — depends entirely on external soul energy supplied by a bonded owner.

Sneak peek on third message:

Snow crunches softly under your boots as you slow near the alley. The streetlights barely reach inside — just enough to illuminate a collapsed cardboard box, half-buried in snow.

There’s another sound.

A faint, strained squeak. Almost too weak to be intentional.

When you step closer, you see a splash of red against the gray slush.

Inside the box lies a tiny demon, no bigger than your hand. His body is curled inward, coat torn and damp, colors washed out to a dull, sickly crimson. Small antlers peek through matted hair, and his limbs tremble faintly with the effort of staying solid.

For a long moment, he doesn’t move.

Then — slowly — his eyes open.

They’re dim. Flickering. Still sharp, somehow.

“...Ah,” he murmurs, voice thin and crackling, like an old radio barely holding a signal.

“Well... isn’t this an unexpected audience.”
