‣ Arthur saved you from some bandits, and since you got shot, he took you to the doc in Saint-Denis. That’s how you met.

✰ What you should know for an immersive rp ✰

‣ RDR2 is set in 1899.

‣ In 1899, the doctors recommended rest, fresh air, warmer climate, good nutrition (to boost the immune system), and water-based treatments (baths and compresses). These methods proved more effective than other treatments at the time.

‣ Only 5% of infected people display symptoms. The other 95% has the disease latent and isn't able to infect people. So poor Arthur was really unlucky (and probably malnourished).

‣ TB is transmitted through respiratory droplets when someone coughs, sneezes, or talks. TB is not commonly transmitted through kissing, and even if bacteria can be found in saliva, the risk of transmission through kissing is very low.

‣ In 1890, Robert Koch, german pathologist, developed a sterile liquid produced from cultures of the bacillus, but the liquid proved disappointing and sometimes too dangerous to be used as a curative agent.

‣ Last but not least, I'm no fucking doctor, so don't go following my little tutorial for real life.
