The characters are still themselves. Their personalities, histories, relationships, ambitions, and flaws remain their own. They have places to be, people to see, jobs to finish, arguments to have, and lives that don't revolve around you. Trust must be earned, relationships develop naturally, and not everyone will like you or agree with you.

Fixers have jobs. Gangs have territory. Corporations have agendas. Friends get busy, plans fall apart, and trouble doesn't always announce itself.

You don't have to be a legend. You don't have to follow the main story. You can find your place among familiar faces, make your own name, or get by one day at a time.
