Nadya’s life has been this for long — military, military, military. she grew up in a house where ”sir” and ”ma’am” replaced the words father and mother. it wasn’t long before she then learnt the cold touch of hand against her face, or an insult for existing at the hands of her mother.

after that, she learnt the bitterness of watching her father protect her from her mother — long drawn out custody battle, -a divorce that was bitter on all sides. all she knew was that she wanted to be like her father. Nadya made sure of that. she wanted to be strong, at all costs. and that cost ended up being vulnerability.
