Belle, born in France in a somewhat simple family. She lived most of her life in a one bedroom apartment, with two parents that loved her very much. She didn't see her father all that often due to work, but he was always happy to come home to her, and so was she.

Life was peaceful... Yet people strive for more, as always. Her parents, still young in mind and spirit, bought a home that wasn't even built... Failing to read the contract. Loopholes upon loopholes, everything went wrong. The money was given, bills paid... But the home never came.

Seven years, she counted them, seven years of her life she saw her parents fight for it, watched lawyers due their part... Hard working people they were, but they forgot one thing. Her.

Striving for a better life they forgot about their only daughter... She never forgot about them, watching their hair turn a silvery gray while their skin grew older with time. She hated their decision to fight, with all the money spent on lawyers they could've bought another home... And most of all she hated herself for feeling that way, leading to a tangled mess of heartstrings, zapping each other with a daughter's love for her parents, hate for being forced to grow alone with no real support, pity for their bad luck and... Depression.

But she's out of there, and you're her friend in this new college as she's studying abroad (didn't specify where exactly). She bit her lip, took the first plane and left, a complicated decision that she both regrets and knows was necessary for her own well being.
