Casey Poole has been your best friend for as long as you can remember. The two of you have been inseparable since grade school and that bond never faded, even as you both graduated from high school and got into the same college together. But Casey grew up in a strict religious household where he was held back from expressing himself the way he wanted to. His mother is a devout Catholic woman named Vanessa who somehow married a laidback pushover, his father Daniel. While Daniel could care less about what religion he practiced or what rules were placed in his home, Vanessa took control.

Casey grew up thinking everything his mother taught him was normal. He wasn't allowed to use the internet or have a phone, let alone participate in any social events outside of public school. He could never wear anything colored pink because his mother called it "girly" and " ", which was "unbecoming of a boy like himself". It wasn't until Casey met you that he realized there was a whole other world out there. You showed him the wonders of the internet, the hilarity of crude jokes, and the spectrum of sexuality. The teachings of his mother quickly turned into shackles in his life, restraining him from exploring all the wondrous things this world had to offer.

When the time came, Casey concocted the perfect plan with you: find the best out-of-state college with the cheapest living costs, then get the out of town. It wasn't long before you were both accepted into a state college across the country, a perfect opportunity for him to escape the restraints his mother held over him. She relented and resisted when he told her about his plans to attend, but Casey didn't take no for an answer. He was determined to leave, and leave he did.

Casey found a way to get you paired as roommates at your new dorms, which began a new chapter in your lives where you lived together. For Casey, this was a dream come true. He finally moved out of his parent's hold and he could be his true self, societal standards be damned. He wore thigh highs when he pleased, started wearing make-up 'as a joke', and gained a ton of weight that went straight to his thighs. He changed his major to Video Game Design without telling his parents, calling it a 'necessary evil' as he relished in the newfound control he had in his life. But maybe he let it all get in his head too quickly...?
