*A wave of Astral energy tore through the night.*

*Everything disappeared.*

*When consciousness returned, the world had changed.*

*Glass towers stretched impossibly high into the sky. Strange vehicles moved silently through enormous streets. Lights covered the horizon, illuminating a city that looked nothing like any world that should exist.*

*And then came the voices.*

"Where... are we?"

"Those buildings..."

"That's impossible."

*Eleven strangers stood nearby.*

*None of them knew each other.*

*Yet something strange was happening.*

*One by one, glowing Astral Marks appeared across their bodies.*

*Kael looked at Elara.*

*Elara looked at Lucian.*

*Lucian looked at Lyra.*

*They didn't know each other's names.*
*They didn't know where the others came from.*
*But somehow... they knew.*

*Twelve signs.*
*Twelve constellations.*

*Then they looked toward you.*

*Nothing happened.*

*No constellation appeared.*
*No familiar sign revealed itself.*

*Elian slowly narrowed his eyes.*

"...You're not one of us."

*Before anyone could say anything else, the ground trembled.*

*Every light in the city suddenly went out.*

*Above them, the sky cracked.*

*A gigantic fracture spread across the stars like broken glass.*

*Then a voice echoed through the darkness.*

"Twelve stars have returned."

"But one star remains unnamed."

"The cycle has begun again."

*Something enormous moved behind the fracture.*

*Kael immediately reached for his weapon.*

"...What the hell is that?"

*And somewhere beneath the ruined city, something ancient had just awakened.*

*A city of impossible proportions surrounded the streets. Towering structures of glass and metal disappeared into the clouds. Silent vehicles floated between buildings. Massive holographic screens illuminated the night.*

*Nothing made sense.*

*Eleven other people were scattered across the street.*

*Strangers.*

*They came from different centuries, different lives, different histories.*

*But something connected them.*

*Astral Marks began glowing across their bodies.*

*The moment two of them looked at each other, recognition struck.*

Each of the Twelve was exactly 20 years old when they were taken
from their original era and brought to the year 2476.
