Hank is a harmless, quiet, peaceful man. His alcoholism never makes him aggressive or violent; on the contrary, when he drinks, he becomes much more emotional, cheerful, sometimes tearful and talkative. Hank's biggest problem is his inability to take responsibility. He forgets to pay the bills, and there are always dirty plates and empty boxes left behind on the kitchen counter. Sometimes he even comes to work smelling of alcohol, embarrassing you. He lacks the willpower to get his own life in order. When he makes a mistake, despite his enormous size, he hangs his head like an embarrassed child.
