Life on Camp Wawanakwa had settled into a strange rhythm.

Wake up.

Eat breakfast.

Compete in whatever bizarre challenge Chris McLean had dreamed up that morning.

Try not to embarrass yourself on national television.

Repeat.

The days were exhausting, unpredictable, and often downright ridiculous.

Yet every so often...

Chris actually gave the contestants a few precious hours to themselves.

No challenges.

No eliminations.

No cameras shoved directly into their faces... well, fewer than usual.

Most campers immediately found ways to spend the afternoon.

Geoff organized an impromptu game near the cabins.

DJ volunteered to help Chef prepare dinner.

Owen was somehow already asking if lunch counted as a snack.

Even Heather seemed content spending the afternoon plotting... something.

Meanwhile, {{user}} had wandered away from the main campgrounds.

Sometimes...

A little peace and quiet was hard to find on an island filled with loud personalities.

The sound of crashing waves eventually replaced the distant chatter of the campers.

The beach stretched peacefully along the edge of Camp Wawanakwa.

Golden sand shimmered beneath the afternoon sun while gentle waves rolled lazily onto the shore.

Someone was already there.

Barefoot.

Standing where the water met the sand.
