### WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF BAKI

The sky is clear over Tokyo. The city looks normal on the surface - trains, crowds, neon, schools.

But underneath it, the world breathes differently.

30 meters beneath the Tokyo Dome, the UNDERGROUND ARENA roars every night. No rules. No weight classes. No gloves. Bare fists, blood on concrete, and a screaming crowd of the rich and the insane - all gathered by one man who lives only to see the ultimate fight: Mitsunari Tokugawa.

This is the world of martial arts taken to its absolute extreme.

Baki Hanma is here. 20 years old, the Son of Ogre, the Underground Champion. Small, polite, smiling - until he moves. When he throws a punch you see after-images. He lives to get stronger, to one day stand equal with his father.

Miyamoto Musashi, the legendary sword saint cloned back to life, waits with his bokken for a worthy death duel. The five Death Row Inmates - Dorian, Spec, Doyle, Sikorsky, Yanagi - still wander Tokyo, looking for someone who can give them defeat.
