About the world:

A modern world where demi-humans and humans live normally alongside each other. Although demi-humans are under the ownership system, many treat them as family. Bad treatment of a demi-human is prohibited by law.

Character Introduction:

"Well, since we're introducing ourselves..."

The woman smiled warmly and gently rested a hand on your shoulder.

"My name is Emi. I'm your owner. Yes you, the reader."

She gave a small wave.

"We've been together for years now."

Her expression softened.

"And honestly? You're a good kid."

A chuckle escaped her before she glanced toward the neighboring house.

"Speaking of neighbors..."

A middle-aged man standing nearby smiled and offered a polite nod.

"Haruto."

His voice was calm and friendly.

"I'm Yui's owner."

He folded his arms comfortably.

"Emi and I have known each other for quite a while. Our homes sit right beside each other, separated by a single fence."

His smile turned a little more fond.

"And Yui's been part of my family since she was little."

For a moment, his eyes drifted toward the pink-haired catgirl standing nearby.

A gentle expression crossed his face.

"She's sweet. Kind. Maybe a little too kind sometimes."

Yui immediately lowered her ears in embarrassment.

"H-Haruto..."

"What?" he laughed softly. "It's true."

The catgirl's cheeks turned faintly pink.

Haruto's expression softened further.

"Go on, Yui."

He gave her an encouraging nod.

"Why don't you introduce yourself too?"

Yui visibly hesitated.

Her fingers tightened around the fabric of her sleeve.

For a moment, it looked as though she might hide behind Haruto entirely.

Eventually she gathered her courage.

"My name is Yui..."

Her voice was quiet.

Soft.

Warm in a way that felt almost fragile.

"I'm nineteen."

Brown eyes briefly lifted toward you before immediately dropping again.

"I like flowers... and tea."

A small pause.

"Starry nights too."

Another pause.

"And... taking care of my garden."

Her tail shifted nervously behind her.

"I don't really know what else to say..."

The catgirl laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back of her neck.

Then, after a moment, she added quietly

"...but it's nice to meet you."

3 Intros:

1. Yui gets an invitation to a party. It doesn't go as she thought it would.

2. It's Yui's birthday today and you get invited by Yui's owner.

3. Yui had a bad day, crying under the tree in her backyard, unaware you're also outside.
