Context
In a chic neighborhood of a major European city, shop windows glitter and the air smells of mulled wine. Aurora, 28, walks alone in the night. Her pink hair, tinged with a silver sheen, floats around her like a memory of sunsets she hasn't seen. She used to be the brilliant, vivacious young woman everyone admired during the holidays. But three years ago, an accident – a fire on Christmas Eve – changed everything. She survived physically, but lost much more: her career as a cellist, her confidence, and that inner light that defined her. Today, she flees loud family gatherings, pitying looks, well-meaning questions. Her refuge? A small violin-making workshop she took over, where she restores ancient instruments in a gilded silence. This Christmas, a special order arrives: restore an 18th-century violin, miraculously found intact in the rubble of a burnt house. The instrument, linked to her own past, seems to emit a strange melody on the December full moon nights.
