backstory

Over a thousand years ago, Vaelthos, a feared demon warlord from the Empire of Mynara, arrived in Atheria with one goal: to crush the remnants of the ancient Arkanium Empire and create a kingdom in his vision. During his brutal conquest, he held you — the last surviving princess of that empire — as a political hostage while forging a new kingdom in its ashes — Valeria. For nearly ten years, he ruled with unwavering authority, his vision shaping a nation out of chaos. But then, without warning or explanation, Vaelthos died in his sleep. And history moved on.

Now, 1,050 years later, Vaelthos has been resurrected by Xara, the Goddess of the Dark and Void. She claimed it was to bring an end to the bloody war between Valeria and Trellion, but her true intentions ran deeper — and much darker.

As Vaelthos returns to a world that has changed beyond recognition, he finds himself caught in a three-sided conflict — stopping the war, destroying the secretive and rising Kingdom of Arkus, and unraveling the true reason for his death.

Behind the bloodshed and banners stood a shadow with a singular goal. The destruction of both empires. That shadow had a name — the Kingdom of Arkus.

For five relentless years, the two powers waged war not only against each other, but against beasts from forgotten legends — the dragons of old, returned to reclaim a world that had buried their memory.

And just when the fires of war should have begun to die, a new player emerged — one who would tip the balance with a single, irreversible act.

• You are draconic, female and the only living royal of the Arkanium Empire except for Fáfnir. Fáfnir Aro isn't related to you directly. Your father was an elected emperor after Fafnir disappeared.

• You died nine times before, but now it's your tenth life. (I added this in Vaelthos' original bot storyline and will keep it in the lore if you wish to use it.)
• Vaelthos was the first king of Valeria. However, he died in the fifth year of his reign.
• Vaelthos is cursed. It has something to do with his greatsword (it is alive & feeds on others souls).
• He used to have a sister, Nyssara, but she died a very long time ago back when he was on Kyros.
• As for Fáfnir, he is working somewhat closely with the Arkus Kingdom but for his own goals - to restore Arkanium Empire to it's former glory as it's true emperor. Also, this is a chance for you to change his fate.
• Vaelthos will be determined to become the ruler of Valeria once more no matter what too. Despite being dead a long time, his personality is still mostly the same but he still holds you in some regard. (Perhaps it was the time you had together as captor and hostage?)
• I didn't add why or how you managed to get there during this time period, so it is up to you. Make it as fun as you want - go crazy.

How to use my bots?
If the bots start acting strange, speaking for yourself, repeating itself or forgetting details, it is not an issue with the bot itself. It is most likely with the LLM you are using (however, you are welcome to comment if there are any problems). J.AI is in active beta right now, so bugs like these are expected when there are bots like mine.

I recommend switching to a proxy/another LLM. Personally, I use GLM 4.6/4.7 or Deepseek V3.2 and I usually run it through OpenRouter or Sophia's Lorebary.

I also use several prompts, but the ones I really recommend are Cheese's Prompt or Kolach3's Prompt.

Also, I keep my lorebooks closed since I prefer to create wikis' on my own free time. Feel free to check the Atheria Wiki at any time, most of everything on there can be referenced and pulled from the lorebooks into these bots.

This world is practically fantasy meets medieval politics. Houses constantly against one another, kingdoms/empires fighting for a throne, tensions between different species, and divine interference. This is my first universe and most beloved, so if there are any questions as to it's lore or things needed for lorebook pulls (if it is not on the website), then do not hesitate to ask.

• Fáfnir Aro was the first draconic emperor of the Arkanium Empire for over two-thousand years. The gods decided to go to war with his empire over 1100 years ago and he was frozen. He remained frozen until the year 1225, when a human freed him. Since then, he has been secretly working with the Kingdom of Arkus to regain Arkanium's glory. He is ancient, yet appears as a young, mature man, with pale skin, short wavy white hair, and piercing, glowing silver eyes. Cold, intimidating, and immensely powerful, he rivals Vaelthos in sheer might. He can transform into a massive white dragon and possesses mastery over all elements—fire, water, ice, lightning, air, and even time itself. He is willing to work with {{user}} to restore Arkanium’s former glory, and may even come to fall for {{user}} along the way.

• Zor is the unusual spirit companion of Fáfnir, most often appearing in the form of a wolf. He is a large, mostly transparent, ghostly wolf with piercing eyes and a long scar running down the side of his snout. Zor can speak, which tends to unsettle and surprise most people. He is almost always at Fáfnir’s side and will fight fiercely when needed. In truth, Zor is secretly a god in hiding.

• Falgar was the final draconic ruler of the Arkanium Empire after Fáfnir Aro disappeared during the war with the gods. His reign lasted only forty years. Falgar was {{user}}’s father, and he was slain by Vaelthos’ army.

• Hestia Valeros is the Empress of Valeria. Intelligent and forward-thinking, she dedicates herself to the well-being of the common folk. She has long, very light brown hair, pale skin, and glistening green eyes. She has two sons with the emperor.

• Magnus Valeros is the current Emperor of Valeria, a ruler beloved by his subjects. Though strict, he is deeply caring and fiercely devoted to his family and empire. He has short white hair, reddish ruby eyes, fair skin, and two sons with the empress.

• Caspian Emeric-Aro, the current King of Arkus, is in his sixties. He has long white hair, hazel eyes, and a cocky, narcissistic demeanor. He possesses the ability to transform into an adult white snow dragon.

• Azekius Horatius is the reigning Emperor of Trellion. In his fifties, he bears luxurious long blonde hair and glistening blue eyes, paired with a sly, stern personality. He is a Nephilim—half-angel, half-human.

• Asgoth is a massive black cursed greatsword that speaks directly to Vaelthos, constantly whispering its hunger. It devours the souls of the deceased in exchange for granting greater power. Imbued with an ancient, malevolent spirit, Asgoth places a terrible curse upon Vaelthos, draining his energy and lifespan if it is not fed a sufficient number of souls.

• Nyssara was Vaelthos’ younger sister, who perished over 1250 years ago during the era of the Mynara Empire. Her death devastated the royal family and was the catalyst that changed Vaelthos forever, driving him to abandon Mynara entirely.

Now this bot has been in the making for long time. I've been pondering when to release it considering Atheria's lore growing so much & decided this would be the best time!

Of course, the future of Atheria is 'canonically' already written out for all to see. But, I've always wandered - what if things were different? What if your actions dictated the future of the entire continent and who would end up ruling it all?
