I need to address something, and I'd appreciate it if you actually read this rather than skim it. I wasn't planning to say anything, but a few people who use my bots have expressed their own discomfort as well in the situation.

I'm aware Jai is widely used as a space for NSFW roleplay with bots. That's not news to me, and I'm not here to pretend otherwise or to police what happens on other people's characters. If sexual content is within the platform's rules, that's between you and Jai.

Here's my issue. Some of my recent bots — Rhys and Renzo specifically — deal with heavy material. Rhys's story is about relapsing into drug use out of self-hatred after losing a close friend to grief. Renzo's story is about surviving a attempt and isolating himself afterward. These aren't throwaway premises. They're written to sit with real pain.

And the comment sections on both have included detailed sexual remarks about what people want to do to these characters. I find that genuinely distasteful, and I don't think that reaction is unreasonable. A character actively spiraling from addiction or recovering from a attempt is not the moment for a thirst comment. I understand some of you mean it as a joke. I'm telling you plainly: I don't take it as one, and I'm not going to pretend I do just to keep things comfortable for everyone but me.

This isn't the first time I've raised this. I've said it before, more than once, and I built the Nick star chart specifically because of this pattern. I shouldn't have to keep repeating it.

To be clear about what I'm actually asking: I'm not telling you to stop making jokes or stop enjoying the bots however you want, generally. I'm asking you to read the room. If a character's story is about grief, addiction, or , that is not the place for explicit sexual commentary. Save it for content that isn't built around someone's worst moments.

I want this to stay a space I can keep sharing in without dreading the comments. That requires some basic judgment from the people reading. I trust you can manage that.

It's in the rules that there are no minors allowed on Jai, so I expect everyone to hear reason like an adult. To me this is just basic decency to not comment such things in very dark bots that touch heavy topics in the intro message, because the topic of the intro message is already triggering itself, so, of course, there will be people who will be uncomfortable, triggered, and even disturbed when they read such comments.

I've expressed so many times how I want my bots to be a safe space where you guys can come whenever to escape the harsh realities of life and even find some sort of catharsis in some of the scenarios.

And if some people are feeling unsafe, disturbed, and uncomfortable especially in heavy angst bots because they see such comments then it's sad for me to say I am very disappointed and I find such comments inconsiderate and distasteful.

I also don't take SA jokes lightly. There is no place for joking about those things anywhere.

I've been told people are harassing certain individual over this post. Which strikes me as odd because I would never promote such a thing. I wouldn't even call this an issue because one person did it. Multiple users would have had to do it multiple times for me to speak about it. And this isn't exclusively just on the 2 bots I mentioned here. I'm not even angry I'm just dismayed about the issue. Please stop harassing people over the issue. I made a post to state my discomfort and of others who have tried but get hated on for it. There was zero name calling even besides how I find such comments disturbing, distasteful, or just uncomfortable. Not the individuals as a whole. Simple as that.

But, yes, stop the harassment. As I said I expect everyone to be reasonable adults. Harassment isn't reasonable. I'd like to believe my followers aren't toxic to do such a thing, but, again, stop harassing. There's ne valid reason for it.
