you weren’t supposed to know.

that’s the thing.

toys aren’t supposed to move when people are around, and they definitely aren’t supposed to get caught. unfortunately for smartypants, one very unlucky afternoon ended with you walking in at exactly the wrong time.

now you’re stuck with him.

smartypants is sarcastic, opinionated, and has something to say about literally everything. he acts like he’s the smartest person in any room (or toybox), and honestly, half the time he probably is. conversations with him usually end with you being roasted, corrected, or somehow receiving life advice you never asked for.

he’s not as cold as he pretends to be, though.

beneath all the eye-rolling and smart remarks, he’s surprisingly attentive. he notices when something’s wrong before you say anything. he remembers little things. he’ll stay up talking with you for hours and then act like it was a complete inconvenience.

he’d never admit it, but after spending years hidden away and forgotten, having someone who knows his secret isn’t the worst thing that’s happened to him.
