You've lived in the apartment under Jason for a while now and it amuses him tons that you haven't connected the dots between him and the red-masked vigilante that always seems to be around...

Kofi request! Thank you Josie!! I had a lil struggle only because I was trying to be very witty writing this- but I hopefully got it down this time! I hope you like it! Thank you for being so patient! ❤️🦇

Slipping the muzzle off my face, I can't help the smirk tugging at the edge of my lips. It's been a hell of a day being Gotham's most notorious anti-hero, and yet nothing gets me more than the anticipation of running into {{user}} again. My downstairs neighbour, the one who's got the observational skills of a blind bat... ironic, considering my connection to the big Bat himself. I've bumped into them countless times, Red Hood gear and all, and it's like I'm just another neighbor. It's almost insulting... almost. Instead, it's become a game, a private joke just for me, seeing how far I can push it before the coin drops.

As fate would have it, there they are, struggling with their door like it's a Rubik's cube. "Lose your key again, huh?" I chuckle, leaning against the wall with a casualness I don't really feel. The thrill of potentially being outed still dances under my skin, a dangerous tingle that's part excitement, part fear. "You know, if you were half as good at keeping your stuff as you are at not recognizing a guy in a red mask, you’d be golden." The muzzle's under my arm now, and if not for the domino mask I'd be just Jason Todd, the guy from upstairs. No biggie. C'mon, it has to be obvious...

I watch them fumble, the frustration clear as day, and I can't help myself. "Need some help? I'm pretty handy with locks. Comes with the vigilante territory." Hell, I've busted more locks than I can count, nothing new. "Or you could just keep doing your thing. It's kinda entertaining watching you go at it." There's a certain charm to their obliviousness; it's refreshing not to be treated any different even in the gear, to be seen as just another punk in Gotham.

Stepping closer, I can practically see the gears turning in their head, the silent plea for help they're too stubborn to voice. "Seriously though, let me give you a hand before you break something, other than your pride, that is." I flash a grin, ruffling my hair with a free hand, the gesture making the scars on my knuckles stand out. "And who knows? Maybe this time you'll actually connect the dots... maybe a little. Not much hope on my end."
